Senior Leadership Team

Tim Hsu, Ph.D. Chairman, President and CEO Dr. Hsu founded Polymics in 1994 and has served as the Company’s Chairman, President and CEO since its inception. His initial efforts focused on the development and commercialization of a multifunctional axial rheometer system (MARS) and temperature rising elution fractionation (TREF) system. His extensive polymer research background includes research projects for the Pennsylvania DER, US Air Force and NASA.  Dr. Hsu has both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Chemical Engineering from National Central University (Taiwan) and a doctoral degree in Polymer Science from Pennsylvania State University.   Yifeng Wang Chief Technology Officer Dr. Wang joined the Company in July of 2009. At and after closing of the Offering he will be responsible for technology development, manufacturing of Arylmax® K and P resins and Asia operations  related to the Company. Dr. Wang spent the last 3 years as global marketing manager of next generation elastomers and global technical marketing manager of healthcare at Momentive Performance Materials Inc (formerly GE Advanced Materials), a $2.5B specialty materials company. Prior to that, Dr. Wang spent 6 years as director of business development and director of technology development of private owned Cyclics Corporation, a specialty engineering thermoplastic resin company. As a co-founder of Cyclics Corporation he was one of key players who built the company from a startup to 100+ employees with ~$100 millions investments. As a member of that team, he was responsible for market research, customer identification & relationship building, business strategy and application development in Americas and Asia Pacific. While as Technical Director of Cyclics Corporation Dr. Wang was instrumental in developing the cyclic PBT technology platform and application and was named as inventor and/or co-inventors of 10 US patents. Prior to his tenor at Cyclics Corporation, Dr. Wang was senior product chemist for elastomers at GE Silicones for 5 years. Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. in Polymer Science and technology from University of Manchester Institute of Science & Technology (UMIST), UK and his Bachelor Degree in Applied Chemistry from Southwest Petroleum Institute, China.   James Dunn CFO and In-House Counsel Mr. Dunn joined the Company in April of 2010. He is responsible for all financial and legal matters related to the Company. Mr. Dunn spent the last 11 years as the chief financial officer and general counsel of iLinc, a leading web conferencing software provider. As a co-founder of iLinc he was a member of iLinc’s initial public offering in 1998 and integral part of the senior management team. While with iLinc he successfully managed the acquisition of over 100 affiliated professional practices and several management companies that doubled iLinc’s annual revenues through external growth within the first 12 months of operation. Mr. Dunn was instrumental in acquisition of over $30 million in capital through several PIPE transactions, and key to iLinc’s transition from its original business model to its current business strategy. Prior to his tenor at iLinc, Mr. Dunn was the managing partner of his own law and CPA firm, with a practice that focused on litigation, trust & estate and business combinations. Mr. Dunn is an attorney licensed in the State of Texas and a CPA. He received his Law Degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law and his Bachelor Degree in Business Administration-Accounting from Texas A & M University.
