Compounding

Polymics is able to draw from our vast knowledge, and large supply of polymers and fillers to select the right package and mix. We offer resin compounding for all high performance thermoplastics.  We have a wide selection within our Pyramid™ line of polymers, and as custom resin formulation experts, we always offer an option to customize your compound.  Our compounds are made only from the highest quality resins, and make great foundations for components in structural or wear applications. All of our compounding takes place in clean room facilities, to ensure that your product is not contaminated or compromised.  That is where the resin melt filtration, reprocessing, and re-pelletizing takes place.  Once the compound is made, it is shipped to the address of your preference.

Repellitization

On certain orders, we also offer repellitization.  A regrind can be repellitized into a standard size pellet more suitable for future blending or compounding.  This is especially applicable when adding resins to virgin material, with the consistent size among the pellets allowing for a more consistent molding compared to just using a regrind. Polymics’ repellitization process includes grinding, melting, applying a melt filter, pellitizing the polymer, packaging and shipping to the location of your choice.
